Jesse & Taylor Barron

Our story starts off for Jesse and Taylor as I arrive at the venue, Stoneridge Ranch in Gatesville, TX. with rain that lasted most of the day. It is a small venue and I didn’t have a lot of space, but I made the best of it. I got done setting up for the reception and headed outside to take a look at what I was working with as I was told by the venue owner that there was a “sound system” already installed and I could just hook up to it with my laptop. Once I got down to where the box with the home stereo receiver was…..yes, a home stereo receiver, I wasn’t surprised that it didn’t work as the owner stated. Nevertheless, we ended up getting done with the ceremony and moved up to where the reception was to take place. I got the bridal party all lined up and introduced them. One of the things that I hate most when introducing bridal parties and newlyweds is mispronouncing people’s name and on this day, I did just that. I mispronounced Taylor’s son Kyson’s name. Even with me missing up his name, he sure had fun coming in with everyone watching him dance! Once we were done with dinner, we were ready for the first dance. Jesse and Taylor picked Shameless by Garth Brooks as their first dance song. As they danced, they kept gazing into each other’s eyes and you see that they are in so much love with each other. We then went into the bride/father dance where Taylor and her dad danced to I Loved Her First by Heartland. Next, we did Jesse and his mom’s dance and they danced to Don’t Blink by Kenny Chesney. Now, it was time to party! I get so immersed and so focused with figuring what song to play next, I keep forgetting to take more pictures. People danced and had fun the whole night in spite of weather! Side note: I had my first and hopefully my last accident at this wedding. I slipped and fell when trying to get my speaker setup for the ceremony. Luckily, I didn’t break anything (me or equipment), but it sure hurt the ego more than my body! The other good thing was the fact the bride’s mom, Tracey is a nurse. Jesse and Taylor, I would like to say a big THANK YOU for choosing Make It Kount Entertainment to be part of your most special day!
